Facebook Offering 2GB to Store your Photos Privately

There has been several issues regarding the privacy of photos and updates of users in Facebook. But now, Facebook is rolling out a new feature called Photo syncing, which lets you store your mobile photos privately, then choose which ones to share. As of now this feature is not available to all users but only available for some people using the newest Facebook for Android app. This feature currently under testing and should be available soon.

You can install the latest Android app for Facebook and check if you have this option. As per this feature, you can now get 2GB of space for storing photos privately.

Photo sync

To start syncing your photos, make sure you have the latest version of Facebook for Android installed on your phone. You can access these photos from Android app as well as your timeline on PC.

From the Android app:

Go to your timelineTap PhotosTap Sync at the bottom of your photos section. Follow the step-by-step instructions.

From your computer:

Go to your timelineClick PhotosClick Synced From Phone at the top of your photos section. Follow the step-by-step instructions.

You can choose how many photos you’d like to sync from the app. Your synced photos are privately stored in a section of your Facebook Photos that only you can see. When you view your synced photos, you can choose shots to share or send in a private message.
